SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Oversee compilation of financial information and preparation of entries to general ledger accounts,

documentation of business transactions; Review posting entries into general ledger and sub-ledger

accounts, including cash account, accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital and revenue accounts;

Generate financial reports using financial, accounting (GAAP compliant), federal and state income tax

applications, Excel and spreadsheet programs; Prepare financial reports and statements, including

balance sheet, profit and loss statements and income statements, which summarize and forecast

company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings, based on

past, present and expected operations, and present to company management; Analyze client records of

present and past operations, trends and costs as well as estimated and realized revenues, administrative

commitments and obligations incurred, to project future revenues and expenses; perform analysis and

prepare reports specifying and comparing factors affecting tax liabilities and profitability, and assessing

variances between estimated and actual liabilities; Monitor receivables, performing comparative

financial analysis to determine if income projections are consistent with actual revenues which will allow

clients to establish future income projections and monitor liabilities, and performing analysis to

determine budget requirements; Analyze clients’ past and present financial operations and estimate

future revenues and expenses for their management to forecast future financial positions and formulate

budgets; Manage financial control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budget administration, cash

and credit management as well as accounting and controlling operating expenses and capital

expenditures; Coordinate preparation of financial reports and forecasts for clients to assess projected

company revenues and determine profitability of products and services; Analyze financial results and

prepare reports summarizing and forecasting of financial position in areas of income, expenses and

earnings, inventory, to determine need for procurement of funds or capital investment of earnings;

Prepare tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and tax-exempt organizations for businesses in

various industries, individuals including multistate, gift taxes, fiduciary and estate and other various tax

forms following current tax laws in preparation; Provide client tax planning and consultation with

research on tax laws for various government tax issues and notices.

Must have a master degree in accounting or a related field plus 2 years accounting experience.

CTEC registered tax preparer.
